Students will learn the applications of STEAM, with an emphasis on art, in the ever-evolving world of technology. With very simple block coding, students will not only explore 3D modelling in TinkerCAD, the kid-friendly and fun version of AutoCAD (a more professional software that will be introduced in the third week), but also animation! Students will have the opportunity to embrace their creativity and artistic abilities without too much coding. And, since TinkerCAD is hailed as one of the easiest 3D design Minecraft mods, students will get to import their 3D models into Minecraft.
The second week will involve using Adobe Photoshop, a popular tool for editing and digital design. Students will develop cool and fun designs as well as other art in the software and gain valuable Photoshopping skills.
The third week will be a transition into using the professional software, AutoCAD, where students will learn how to 3D model and bring artistic visions to life digitally.
