In order for any minor in your care to take part in Bay Coding Club (BCC) Minecraft/Roblox class or DCCC Minecraft/Roblox Club, including playing video games on consoles, computers, or any other platform, you as a parent or legal guardian (You) must read, understand, this liability waiver prior to such participation. On behalf of yourself, your minor children, and minor children in your care, you are agreed below, indicates that You acknowledge and agree to the terms of this liability waiver, as follows.（2019/05）

1)     You warrant that yourself, your minor children, and minor children in your care that take part in activities at BCC are physically, mentally, and emotionally fit to take part in such activities.

2)     Participants agree that their conduct at BCC shall be respectful and must not negatively affect the gaming experience of another player. Participants must also comply with any rules posted by BCC.

3)     Participants agree NOT to Transmit any content that is unlawful, vulgar, obscene, or that threatens or invades the privacy of another person; Impersonate another player or person, or violate any local, state, or federal law; Transmit any data that contains viruses or harmful computer code, including spam or junk mail, or interfere with the operations of BCC’s equipment.

4)     Participants understand that Teen and Mature-rated games, as rated by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB), may be played at BCC and may be displayed on screens at any time. You understand that this rating indicates the ESRB has determined that the game may contain content unsuitable for minors including but not limited to violence, suggestive themes, blood, or use of strong language. You authorize minor children in your care to be in the presence of and to participate in such games at BCC Minecraft/Roblox Club.

5)     You understand that there are risks of injury, both known and unknown, in playing video games, including but not limited to eye strain, hand and wrist injury, and emotional stress. The risk of injury, although minimal, exists as it does in all similar play and amusement activities.

6)     Bay Coding Club (BCC) does not allow teachers to add students in any of the online games after school time, if students themselves want to add the teachers into their online game, in this situation, BCC would not take any responsibility related to anything happens. 

7)     You agree that on behalf of yourself, your children, family members, children in your care, and your heirs and assigns, that You knowingly and freely assume all risks of injury and agree to hold harmless BCC, its owners, shareholders, managers, agents and employees with respect to any claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities, including attorney’s fees and court costs, arising from or related to Participant’s taking part in BCC activities.

Additional Terms for AI Project Courses

Effective July 18, 2026

These additional terms apply to Bay Coding Club (“BCC”) AI Explorer, AI Creator, AI Innovator, Build AI Apps, Build AI Agents, AI Startup Lab, and related AI project courses. They supplement the waiver above and the terms shown on the applicable product and checkout pages. If a course-specific checkout term differs from a general website statement, the course-specific term accepted at checkout controls for that enrollment.

1. Parent or Guardian Authority

The purchaser confirms that they are the participating student’s parent or legal guardian, or that they have legal authority to enroll the student and accept these terms. The purchaser agrees to provide accurate parent and student contact information and to notify BCC of material changes.

2. Enrollment, Cohort Formation, and Start Date

Payment reserves a place in the selected pending cohort; it does not guarantee an immediate start date. AI project courses use rolling enrollment and normally begin after at least three paid students are enrolled in the same course. After a cohort forms, BCC will email the confirmed instructor, weekly meeting time, start date, and joining information. The waiting, transfer, credit, and refund options displayed on the applicable product or checkout page apply if a cohort has not yet formed.

3. Live Instruction, Schedule, and Instructor Changes

Classes are live, online, and instructor-led. Course length, number of meetings, meeting duration, cohort size, and included services are stated on the applicable product page. BCC may make reasonable changes to an instructor, meeting time, platform, or lesson sequence when necessary and will give affected families reasonable notice. If BCC cancels a course that has already started, BCC will offer an appropriate transfer, credit, rescheduled session, or refund for instruction not provided.

4. Technology and Third-Party Services

The family is responsible for a working computer, reliable internet connection, and any account or software specifically identified before class. Courses may use third-party video meeting, learning, hosting, coding, payment, and AI services. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices and may change or become unavailable. BCC will use reasonable alternatives when a required service becomes unavailable. Optional subscriptions, custom domains, extra hosting, and API usage beyond any amount specifically listed as included are the family’s responsibility.

5. AI Use, Accuracy, and Safety

AI systems can produce incorrect, incomplete, biased, or inappropriate output. Students are expected to question, verify, and revise AI output rather than treat it as automatically correct. Students must follow instructor directions and may not use class tools to create harmful, deceptive, unlawful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, discriminatory, or privacy-invasive content. BCC instruction and AI output are educational only and are not medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

6. Student Privacy and Data

Students must not enter passwords or private, identifying, medical, financial, school-record, or account information into AI prompts or project data. Students must not publish class meeting links, reveal classmates’ personal information, or attempt to access another person’s account or files. BCC will use student information only as reasonably necessary to enroll, schedule, teach, support, and document the course, subject to the BCC Privacy Policy and the AI Academy Parent Authorization & Student Privacy Notice.

7. Class Recording, Images, and Public Sharing

Students may not record a class without advance written permission. A class may be recorded for enrolled-student access, safety, or instructional quality only after BCC gives notice and obtains any consent required by law. Enrollment alone does not authorize BCC to use a student’s name, image, voice, or identifiable work in public marketing. Public sharing or promotional use requires separate, specific permission from the parent or legal guardian.

8. Student Work and Intellectual Property

To the extent permitted by law and applicable third-party terms, the student retains ownership of the student’s original project work. The student grants BCC a limited, nonexclusive permission to view, copy, and display the work privately as reasonably needed to teach, provide feedback, assess progress, and conduct a class showcase. This permission does not include public advertising or promotional use without separate parent or guardian consent. Students must respect copyright, licenses, trademarks, privacy, and the rights of others.

9. Conduct and Academic Integrity

Students must participate respectfully, follow class and platform rules, submit work they can explain, and give appropriate credit for sources, code, media, and AI assistance. BCC may limit tool access, contact the parent or guardian, or remove a student from a session when reasonably necessary to protect students, staff, accounts, or systems. Repeated or serious violations may result in removal from the course under the refund terms accepted at checkout.

10. Attendance, Missed Classes, Cancellation, and Refunds

Families should email info@baycodingclub.com as early as possible when a student will miss class. A student absence does not automatically create a right to a make-up session, credit, or refund; any available option depends on the course, cohort, and checkout terms. A family may request cancellation within the first week after the student’s first class by emailing BCC. After the first week, cancellation requests are no longer accepted. The refund amount, method, and timing are governed by the terms displayed and accepted on the applicable product and checkout pages.

11. Online Activity Risks and Release

The parent or guardian understands that online technology activities involve risks that may include eye strain, repetitive-use discomfort, emotional stress, exposure to inaccurate or inappropriate online content, loss of work, service interruption, account compromise, and privacy or cybersecurity incidents. The family agrees to follow reasonable safety instructions, use age-appropriate accounts, maintain secure passwords, and supervise the student as appropriate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the parent or guardian accepts the ordinary risks inherent in voluntary participation and agrees that the release and hold-harmless provisions in the BCC Waiver and Release of Liability apply to participation in these AI project courses. Nothing in these terms waives rights that cannot legally be waived.

12. Electronic Acceptance

Checking the required box at checkout, completing payment, or otherwise electronically accepting these terms has the same effect as a handwritten signature. The parent or guardian acknowledges that they have read and accepted these AI course terms, the applicable product and checkout terms, the BCC Privacy Policy, and the BCC Waiver and Release of Liability.
