Minecraft Blockly JavaScript Creation （Two classes per week）

Class Title:  Minecraft Blockly Javascript Creation
Duration: 3 sessions in total, each needs 8 classes
Class Time: 6/15-9/3 （Monday/Thursday）, 2:30-3:30 pm PT 5:30-6:30 pm ET

ZOOM ID will be sent by Email ( the email when you pay)

prerequisites:

  1. Finishing Bay Coding Club minecraft education edition class
  2. Students need a personal Minecraft Java Edition account (This costs about $20)
  3. Student should be administrator on a Windows 10 computer (not MAC), and not a school chromebook.
  4. Git should be installed on the students personal computer from  https://github.com/git-for-windows/git/releases/download/v2.26.2.windows.1/Git-2.26.2-64-bit.exe

This is monthly charge by BayCodingClub, unless you cancel before 15th every month, until the program ends.Your subscription will automatically renew every month. You will be charged on each renewal until you cancel in your account settings or by submitting a help email to baycodingclub@gmail.com. If you cancel, previous charges will not be refunded, but you may continue to use the service until the end of the term you paid for.

Description
This course will guide the student step-by-step to the completion of 3 plugin minigame projects.
Each project will highlight different minecraft features such as joining a server, creating a lobby, a scoreboard, determining a game winner, special weapons and many other minecraft properties and capabilities.
Ultimately each student will be shown how to populate and administrate their own public server that will be available to any player with an internet connection.

Project 1 Spleef MiniGame
Highlights (optional)
• Install your own minecraft server on your personal computer
• Creating a lobby and spawn point
• Select team color and prevent friendly damage
• Protect certain types of blocks from destruction
• Detect game-winner
• Reset the game world
• Setup a public web server

Project 2 Omaha Beach MiniGame
Highlights (optional)
• Special Weapons
• Managing multiple worlds and minigames
• Special Weapons: Sniper arrows, Minigun
• Special Player Types: King, Soldier
• Protect player gear inventory after respawn
• Public server configuration

Project 3 Tower Defense Minigame
Highlights (optional)
• Utilize commands blocks to drop game tokens (emeralds)
• Link scoreboard to hopper drop events
• In-game teleportation based on sign click
• Public server configuration
