Week 1 – Students will learn how to create 2D games in the first week with Scratch, a kid-friendly game engine that allows users to engage in audio design, animation, coding, and art. Students will create and modify game assets or use the library of assets that Scratch provides and code using block code. The jigsaw-puzzle-like nature of the blocks will be a great introduction to coding logic for students without the pain of learning typed languages.
Week2 – It is a shift from 2D game design to 3D game design in Roblox Studio. The popular game engine associated with the popular game platform Roblox will be used to create amazing 3D worlds with simple coding in LUA and 3D modelling.
