Winter Online 3-Day Bootcamps will be offered between Dec 21-23 and Dec 28-30, 2020, we want to give students an opportunity to excel in their programming levels and problem-solving skills in a concentration training. Choose courses by Grades:

        • Grade K-2: Game Design with Scratch Camps
        • Grade 3-5: Python/ Roblox  (Game Design)
        • Grade 4 and up: Java
        • Grade 6-9: Python (Learn in-depth)
        • Online One-on-One Class

Scratch Camp, Grade K-2: 

Students will learn basic programming fundamentals through Scratch, a kid-friendly programming language designed by MIT. Students will create their own interactive applications. (Round 1 and Round 2 will be the same contents)

  • Day 1: Animate Name + Dance Party
  • Day 2: Storybook 
  • Day 3: Princess/Prince Adventure

Intermediate Python, Grade 3-5:

Students will learn the basics of programming in python, like input, variables, conditions, and loops. Students will apply this knowledge to make drawings with turtle graphics.(Round 1 and Round 2 will be the same contents)

  • Day 1: Python Basics
  • Day 2: Python turtle basics
  • Day 3: Loops and Functions

Java Camp, Grade 4 and up:

Students will learn the basic programming concepts in Java, such as classes, variables, conditions, arrays. Students will use Greenfoot, an IDE built for kids to learn Java, in order to make basic games.(Round 1 and Round 2 will be the same contents)

  • Day 1: Variables & Data Types
  • Day 2: Intro to math modules
  • Day 3: Conditions and Booleans

Academic Python, Grade 6-9:

Students will learn programming concepts in pythons, such as inputs, variables, conditions, loops, and lists. They will get to know introductory data science and use this python knowledge to analyze datasets.(Round 1 and Round 2 will be the same contents)

  • Day 1: Python basics
  • Day 2: Loops, lists and functions
  • Day 3: Data Science

Both LIVE & SELF STUDY Options are available.

Course Formats

Online courses have Live Interactive and Self-Study formats:

Live Interactive: Includes live online classes with teacher interaction. We use Zoom for the online classroom environment. Students can actively participate in classes by asking questions, answering questions, and sharing their methods/solutions with the class.

Self-Study: Includes full BayCodingClub video recording of Live Interactive Classes. Great for self-learners who want to finish the course at their own pace.

Assignment Feedback
  • Recorded videos of live sessions: The lectures are recorded. Live class students can access the recorded lecture video from the teacher’s class email recap within one day after each live class session. Self-study class students will have access to recorded sessions from the Bay Coding Club’s email info@baycodingclub.com with class highlights.
  • Instructional support: Students can ask their questions through and they will be answered by Teachers, or other students during the camp period. 
  • Instant Feedback: Students submit their work through email and get feedback from their teachers.

TUITION FEE:
Each age group session= $150/day, One session (3 days * 3 hours/day) =450 $

WITHDRAW OR CHANGEING:

  • At least one week written notice is required for cancellation/ withdrawal of any session.
  • Before 12/10/2020, withdraw charge fee $50.
  • After 12/10/2020 but before your signed weeks, 80% tuition payment refund will be made.
  • After your signed-up week starts, NO REFUND will be given.
