VIRTUAL cODING

cAMPS

For Age 5-15

Summer Camp 2023 will be offered from June 11 to August 4, 2023 online and onsite.Multiple Topics in One Package

We recommend kids to attend one round (3 weeks) for a completely immersive learning experience. However, as we understand each kid has his/her different summer plan from others, we set the curriculum independent from week to week, so that kids can choose what they need, such as one week. we really want to see the kids find their interest in our camp.

Pre-test is needed for ADVANCED camp. Please contact us by sending an email to info@baycodingclub.com or call +1 650-254-6886 if you have any questions.

Students will create and modify game assets or use the library of assets that Scratch provides and code using block code. The jigsaw-puzzle-like nature of the blocks will be a great introduction to coding logic for students without the pain of learning typed languages.

In the second week, students will use Minecraft, a game design tool but with more graphical and visual block coding. Minecraft also allows for the creation of more complex 3D game design so students can apply what they learned in Scratch and extend their Game Design skills.

The third week is a shift from 2D game design to 3D game design in Roblox Studio. The popular game engine associated with the popular game platform Roblox will be used to create amazing 3D worlds with simple coding in LUA and 3D modeling.
