BCC Refund Policy for Regular Class

Students who withdraw from a course after the first class will not receive tuition refund, but may be eligible to receive a tuition Credit of 100 or 80 or 20 percentage credits.

  • The class first day  (class start at the date)
    • For private courses, the class-start date is the first day of your specific course.
    • For customized group courses, the class-start date is the first day of the session or level.
  • The date of the drop or withdrawalshould be submitted by email to BCC official email info@baycodingclub.com.

For example: There is one student who pays $2400 tuition fee for 40 classes. If he wants to withdraw the class after the first class, he can receive “ 97%* $2340”. If he wants to with withdraw the class after 16 classes, 16/40= 40%, so he can receive credit “50%*(1-40%)* 97%* 2400=$ 698.4”

PRIVATE LESSON POLICIES

Registration: A non-refundable fee of $50 per student is required at registration.

Payment of Fees: Tuition must be paid by automatic bank-account debit or automatic credit card payment (Visa/Master).

NSF Payments: I hereby authorize the school to electronically debit my bank account for the amount of any NSF paper check or auto-debit transactions plus a $20 NSF fee.

Withdrawal and Refunds: 

30 weekdays notice is required to discontinue any lessons.

Withdrawal must be done by filling out the withdrawal request form link provided by the office. To withdraw from lessons, a parent or adult student must:

  1. Inform school administration by email, phone, in person and
  2. Complete and sign an online withdrawal form provided by the school office through email info@baycodingclub.com and cc to baycodingclub@gmail.com.

All automatic bank debiting or credit card charges will stop after the one-month notice period. BayCodingClub reserves the right to terminate lessons to any students without notice. In such a case, a refund for unused lessons will be given.

Processing Fee: All payments go through a credit card processing company which is embeded in our system. The company charges 3% processing fee from each order. If you request a refund, we will not bear the processing fee and can only return 97% of your order amount which we received from you.

Substitutions: BayCodingClub reserves the right to provide a substitute teacher if the regularly scheduled teacher is sick or unable to teach classes. If a teacher is sick but the school cannot arrange a substitute, any missed classes will be made up. You have one chance to change another subsititute teacher. Cancellation of a course due to substitute is unavailable for refund/reschedule.

Missed Lessons: No refunds and make-up lessons are given for missed lessons. If you have emergencies + medical illnesses and needs to skip the class, please send a 24 hours advance notice to info@baycodingclub.com and cc to baycodingclub@gmail.com.   (The festival and holidays that are part of BayCodingClub’’s calendar, BayCodingClub will provide make-up lessons.)

Please review our Bay Coding Club Calendar to determine which specified off dates are set for the school. (BayCodingClub Holidays/development off days are not included in tuition period.) The school will send out an email whenever there is an upcoming holiday for reference.

Parent’s Responsibility to be Aware of Dates and Events: It is the responsibility of the parent or student to be aware of the class time, such as class date, free trial classes, and dates the school is open or closed. It is the responsibility of the parents or adult students to inform the school of any address or telephone number change.

Photo/Video: The school is hereby granted permission to take photographs/videos of the students to use in brochures, web sites, posters, advertisements, and other promotional materials the school creates. Permission is also hereby granted for the school to copyright such photographs and videos in its name.
