Bay Coding Club is a leading K–12 STEAM education academy based in the Bay Area, California, offering cutting-edge computer science and math programs to students worldwide. We provide a diverse range of courses and clubs for students ages 5–17, including Scratch, Python, Roblox, Robotics, Java, App Development, Unity, Meta Design, VR Coding, ACSL, USACO, AP Computer Science, and more.

Our teaching team is composed of senior technology and education experts from top institutions and companies such as Google, Apple, Stanford, and MIT. Our curriculum spans coding, artificial intelligence, robotics, VR, data science, and competitive programming, with a strong emphasis on creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

Beyond our core courses, we also offer academic research opportunities in partnership with university professors in fields such as AI, mathematics, biotechnology, and related areas.

At Bay Coding Club, we are passionate educators and community leaders dedicated to empowering young learners to create meaningful impact through technology, innovation, and visual arts.

 

  • Bay Coding Club offers free public classes regularly—typically introductory sessions for our core programs.
  • These classes are available on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited capacity. They provide a great opportunity for kids to try out the course and see if they are interested.

Free Virtual CS Basic Class

- Each year on Oct - for kids age K-2 +

Bay Coding Club designed this FREE live virtual course in computer basic, According to the 5-7 year-old kids development milestones. This class is designed for kids who have no experience but have deep interest in Technology and future world, you do not have to have any computer science but your curiosity is a prerequisite for register this class. 

Start time: Oct 7th , 14th, 21st, Wednesday 4:30-5:30pm PST

Teacher: Ruby Sun ( Founder at BayCodingClub)/ or other BayCodingClub Instructor

Zoom Id: Will be sent 48-24hours before the class starts.

What kids can learn from this course?

The kids can learn basic knowledge of what a computer is and the future world in Technology: 

  • What is the computer? History of the computer in animation .what today’s computer looks like? 
  • How much we should know about Cybersecurity to be a good digital Citizen in our digital world?
  •  What Robotics made of? What can robotics do?
  •  What is the ACSL and acsl contests challenge? 
  • How to typing efficiently?
  •  How the 3D animation was made? 
  • What is digital Art and how to make flyers in our real world? 
  • What is the NFT in the Metaverse?
  • AI and what AI around us?
  • What you can use with ChatGPT?
  • What we should pay attention to using ChatGPT?

  • Instructor: Ruby Sun, Bay Coding Club Founder, 9th Grader’s Mom, 15+ years of working experience in Information technology field. Love teaching kids. A Geek Mom with a good Soul!
  • Time: 45 minutes per class. Once a week, 3 weeks in total.
